Strategic acquisition strengthens resources, product offerings


We are pleased to announce that effective October 19, 2015 J.D. Barnes Limited has acquired the assets of the professional land surveying firm Guido Papa Surveying Ltd. located in Woodbridge.

Guido Papa Surveying Ltd. is a professional services firm with expertise in legal, construction and engineering surveys. The firm has offered comprehensive consulting services to clients primarily throughout the Greater Toronto Region of Ontario for 40 years.

J.D. Barnes Limited and its subsidiaries offer Surveying, Aerial Mapping, Bathymetry and GIS to a complete range of clients throughout Canada and the US. As an employee owned company with 340+ fulltime staff and a 55 year history, the firm has developed an organizational culture that encourages and rewards innovation, diligence, teamwork and client satisfaction.

The office Guido Papa Surveying, a division of J.D. Barnes Limited will continue at the Woodbridge location. The EPSG number is a 4 to 6 digit number that represents the parameters of a coordinate reference system.
